U.S. Bank RCA Professional - FaRB Complaints Coordinator in North Little Rock, Arkansas

This position will be responsible for proactively facilitating and coordinating the identification, assessment, and trending of potential fair and responsible banking (FaRB) issues through complaints received by CBSS business lines. Generally, the position will provide governance and oversight to ensure related complaints and responses are reviewed for fair lending and UDAAP potential and complete a root cause analysis. Finally, this position will work with CBSS FaRB consultants to ensure issues are appropriately mitigated. Requires strong working knowledge of Consumer Banking Sales and Support (CBSS) risk management, process and practice activities, and fair lending and UDAAP regulatory requirements.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Provide governance and oversight to the CBSS FaRB complaints process

  • Will regularly pull data regarding complaints and make it available to CBSS FaRB consultants

  • Conduct initial review of complaints received by CBSS business lines to determine if any indicate there could be the result of a potential fair lending or UDAAP issue

  • For potential fair lending and UDAAP issues detected, working with the applicable CBSS FaRB consultant, review facts and applicable data and perform root cause analysis where applicable

  • Regularly review complaints for possible fair lending or UDAAP complaints

  • Monitor CBSS complaints to ensure CBSS FaRB is reviewing all complaints as needed

  • Track CBSS FaRB complaint levels

  • Review CBSS Ethics Line complaints for fair lending and UDAAP concerns

  • Prepare monthly reporting for management


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Five to seven years of experience in an applicable risk management environment

  • Applicable professional certifications

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Considerable knowledge of applicable fair and responsible banking laws and regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact CBSS business lines

  • CRCM Certification

  • Considerable understanding of CBSS business line’s operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls

  • Strong process facilitation, project management, and analytical skills

  • Must possess business acumen and credibility to help business line(s) proactively identify and address changing workforce needs

  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations
