  • SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY - Job Summary (general statement of purpose or objective of position)

  • This position is primarily responsible for performing and or over seeing carpentry trade task within repairs and renovation activities, along with a variety of other general maintenance task. Including repair and installation of cabinets, doors, a variety of associated hardware, lock's, ceiling's, flooring. Other duties shall include physical plant equipment operation, troubleshooting and repair of nurse call systems, hospital beds, HVAC components, light and plumbing fixtures, mechanical equipment, plumbing and electrical equipment. Timely completion of scheduled and unscheduled work orders with appropriate documentation.

  • MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Knowledge, skills, abilities, license, registration, certification, education, and experience

  • Education - High School diploma, GED or equivalent preferred. Experience - Four (4) years Carpentry experience. Additional general maintenance experience preferred. Arkansas boiler licenses preferred or will be obtained after hire. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Familiar with safety procedures and trained in safe operation of building maintenance equipment and the handling of related chemicals, such as solvents/degreasers. Carpentry skills with willingness and ability to troubleshoot and repair multiple building/facilities items including, electrical, plumbing, HVAC equipment, hospital beds and nurse call systems. Ability to provide legible, detailed and accurate information on work orders/preventative maintenance forms.
