DBA will be responsible for data analysis and database management. The DBA
will also be responsible for maintenance, enhancement, designing of data
dictionaries, physical and logical database models, and performance tuning.

addition, this person will be also be responsible for developing and qualifying
database release management/deployment procedures and collaborating with the
Software Development, Quality Assurance, and Support teams.
Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
SQL Server Database Administration experience (3+ years), managing multiple MS
SQL 2000,2005, 2008,2012 instances
in data modeling and design including strong knowledge of SQL (T-SQL & ANSI
knowledge of data backup/recovery/rollback
replication server knowledge (setup and troubleshooting)
Server 2000, 2005, 2008,2012 optimization, fine-tuning, and scalability
security and strong knowledge of network architecture and topology
data migration experience (SQL Server 2000 - 2005)
certification (i.e. MCDBA or otherwise) a plus.
of Data Warehousing concepts a plus
in a fast-paced web development environment a strong plus
with MySQL, UDB on LUW and PostgreSQL a plus.
central data repository.
and knowledge in supporting application system development life cycle.
for data dictionary backup and recovery.
for definition of standards of data dictionaries.
program dictionary analysis and maintenance software.
