SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY - Job Summary (general statement of purpose or objective of position)
A Pharmacy Intern who is licensed to practice as a Pharmacy Technician and in addition is registered as a Pharmacy Intern with the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy. This Pharmacy Intern will assist the Pharmacist in providing pharmaceutical services, medication distribution functions, IV compounding, and other duties to enhance hospital-wide patient care.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Knowledge, skills, abilities, license, registration, certification, education, and experience
Must be accepted and/or enrolled in an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy. Inpatient hospital work experience preferred. Must have a Pharmacy Technician Permit and Intern Permit with State Board of Pharmacy in Arkansas prior to orientation.
