Tradesmen International is currently seeking qualified candidates for Class A & Class B Lineman positions on projects all over the United States .
50+ hrs a week
Pay $32 - $35 hrs depends on experience
String, splice, transfer and sag wire and connect to transformers.
Shorten or lengthen lines utilizing splices, connectors, sleeves or clamps.
Install, remove, transfer and maintain or repair cross arms, pins, insulators, guys, transformer and switch racks as well as all other overhead pole and underground equipment using a variety of hand tools.
Assist in carrying poles, digging holes, piking and guying poles as well as erecting steel towers.
A Lineman will install, repair and maintain overhead and underground electrical powerlines and auxiliary equipment.
5 years of experience and a completed apprenticeship course or degree.
Certifications in first aid, CPR and pole-top rescue
Ability to work safely from ladders, bucket trucks, lifts or other specialized equipment
Ability to safely climb and work from wood or metal poles and/or towers
Utilizes and inspects “hot line” safety equipment such as: rubber gloves, line hoses, mechanical jumpers, fiber guards, blankets, etc.
Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation
High standard of integrity and professionalism
Must pass be able to pass a background check
Drug free at all times
CDL License a must
