Simmons Bank Database Analyst II in Little Rock, Arkansas
This position participates in the maintenance, upgrade, and administration of multiple databases. This individual will participate in the development of database and warehousing design.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Performs daily operational and database administration activities.
Supports analysis of information needs and elements, data relationships and attributes, and data flow and storage requirements.
Reviews business requests for data usage and takes appropriate action.
Participates in continuous improvement efforts in enhancing performance, and providing increased functionality.
Provide advanced end user support for enterprise database applications.
Provide proactive and reactive data management support to users.
Assists with related training for users.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, general business correspondence and/or journals or government regulations
Ability to write simple-to-business correspondence, routine reports, and procedures.
Ability to speak effectively and present information in one-on-one/small group situations, to customers, clients, and other employees in the organization.
Education and/or Experience
BS/BA Degree (4 year) from an accredited university/college OR
Two to four years of experience as an Application Analyst.
Must have working knowledge of applications and architecture, preferably banking software- software and workflow design skills preferred.
Must have microcomputer knowledge (use of database and Microsoft networking operating systems, documents, and spreadsheets.)
